Deborah Leggett is a Master’s prepared family nurse practitioner and owner of Family Medical Clinic of Jackson and Trezevant. She moved to Jackson in 2005 and began her medical career in 1986 as a certified nursing assistant. With dreams of furthering her career, she became a licensed practical nurse in 1989. In 2015, she was awarded her Master’s of Science Degree in Nursing at Tennessee Tech as a family nurse practitioner.
With over 30 years of experience, Deborah has an extensive background in renal dialysis, nephrology, diabetes, hypertension, therapeutic apheresis, renal replacement therapy, family practice, and critical care nursing. In addition, she is a certified ketogenic coach and has advanced training in medical aesthetics, weight management, and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. She is also certified as an Advanced Diabetes Educator.
Deborah is always looking to advance her skills and knowledge to provide the best care possible to all her patients.

Tammy Griffis-Hanik is a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in rural healthcare and family medicine. She believes in developing strong relationships to provide personalized care tailored to each patient. Her background includes emergency medicine, dialysis, and medicated assisted treatment programs. Her clinical career took her on a journey through the healthcare system from inpatient to outpatient settings, managing the care of everyone from toddlers to older adults.
She completed her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing at Lewis University in 2006 and her Master’s of Science in Nursing at Austin Peay State University in 2014.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling and any type of outdoor activity.

Melani Sidwell graduated from the University of Memphis as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2016. She has experience in primary and urgent care, interventional pain management, and palliative and hospice care. Before graduating with her Master of Science in Nursing and completing her FNP board certification through AANP, Melani practiced as a registered nurse for more than 18 years.
Melani is from Milan and currently lives in the Jackson area. She is married to her husband of 13 years and they have 3 children. Her son is currently serving in the US Marine Corps, her stepson lives in Arizona, and her daughter is a student at Mississippi State University. Melani enjoys reading, coffee, spending time in nature, and a good horror movie. She has a passion for primary care and is excited to be back in a family practice clinic!

Board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of nursing experience with the past 10 years of nursing with a focus on Neurology. Holds a Master's Degree from Chamberlain University.
On a personal note, Alicia enjoys spending time with her daughter and 3 fur babies. She also enjoys baking and decorating cakes. She also loves to vacation on a cruise.

Cindy Carroll began her nursing career in the emergency room of her hometown of Lexington, Tennessee. From there, she went to advanced healthcare facilities including the Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She obtained her Associate's degree in 1999 from Jackson State Community College, a Bachelor's degree in 2012 from the University of North Alabama, and her Master’s degree in 2018 from Chamberlain College of Nursing. Besides ER nursing, Cindy has worked in intensive care units, medical response teams, critical care transport, medical-surgical, recovery, and hemodialysis both in the acute and chronic settings. Her nursing career spans over 21 years. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a family nurse practitioner and is certified by the Commission for Case Manager Certification as a case manager.
